How we find business contacts

01What we hold

Your name, job title, the company you work for, your work email address, and the public page or source where we found the company's details.

02Where it comes from

• Your company's own public website, such as its home, team, about and contact pages.
• Public sources such as Hugging Face, GitHub, public job boards and startup directories.
• B2B contact-data providers we pay for: Apollo, Prospeo and Smartlead's SmartProspect.

We never use information from accounts we log into, and we don't collect details people have chosen to hide.

03Why we use it (our legal basis)

Our legitimate interest in telling businesses about a service relevant to their work (Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR). We email work addresses only, never personal ones. We don't email people at companies based in Germany or Austria.

04How long we keep it

We keep your contact details while we may still contact you about Runcrate, and we delete them when you ask. If you opt out, we keep only your email address on a suppression list, so we never contact you again.

05Your rights

You can object to our use of your details at any time, and we will stop. You can also ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk).

06To opt out or ask a question

Reply "no" or "remove" to any of our emails, and we stop the sequence and add you to our suppression list. Or write to privacy@runcrate.ai.
